Privacy Policy
DG Caddy ("we", "us") makes a mobile app that analyzes videos of your disc golf throws and gives you coaching feedback. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- An anonymous account ID. When you open the app we create an account that is not tied to your name, email or phone number.
- Your onboarding answers. An optional first name, skill level, throwing hand, preferred throw, goals and typical distance. We use these to tailor coaching.
- Frames from your throw videos. When you analyze a throw, the app extracts about ten still images from your video on your device and uploads only those images. Your full video stays on your phone.
- Your analyses. Scores, feedback, drills and any disc name or note you enter.
- Purchase status. Whether you have an active subscription. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card details.
How we use it
- To analyze your throws and show you your reports and progress.
- To include your recent sessions in new analyses so feedback builds on itself.
- To provide and verify your subscription.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run DG Caddy:
- Supabase hosts our database, file storage and servers.
- Anthropic provides the Claude AI model that analyzes your throw frames and profile answers. Anthropic processes this data to produce your analysis under its commercial terms.
- RevenueCat, Apple and Google process subscriptions.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data until you delete it. You can delete any single throw from its report, or delete your whole account and all associated frames and analyses from Settings > Delete account & data. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; cancel that in your store settings.
Children
DG Caddy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your data. Most of this you can do in the app. For anything else, email us.
